Howarth Oboes /English Horns

Howarth brand oboes are manufactured in England, and are available in a variety of models suited for any level of player from the student to the professional. All models are made entirely of wood and contain all necessary key work, including low B-flat and left hand F keys. The instruments are backed by a one-year crack warranty, and are extremely resistant to cracking because of the specialized African Blackwood that is used in their manufacture. The student models are highly recommended also because of their durable key work and sturdy, protective cases. There are three student models and two professional models available, assuring a fit for any budget. The english horns manufactured by Howarth have a great reputation because of their beautiful tone, stability of tuning, and reliability of construction. Two student models and two professional models are available, including the S20c that is perfect for individuals with smaller hands.

The lighter colour of the wood displays the beautiful patterns in the grain particularly well. For additional comfort, Cocobolo-bodied instruments save 10% in weight over the equivalent instrument with an African Blackwood body.
