The following are organizations making a difference in their communities by offering musical instruments, supplies, workshops and support to local musicians and students.  Please visit their websites or contact me for further information about ways that you can help by donating time, money or supplies  to their organizations.  Monetary donations, as well as donations of used or new instruments, reed making supplies, reeds and music are most gratefully accepted.  Tax-deduction information is available where applicable.  Donations can be made directly to the organization, or can be sent to me, Alyssa McKeithen 4145 Carriage Dr. Sarasota, FL 34241.  Please include your name and contact information, as well as which organization you would like to benefit from your donation, and it will be sent on accordingly.  Together, we can make a difference in the lives of double reed enthusiasts around the world!

1. Fundación Frances Colón, Inc – This organization is dedicated to providing support  to oboists on the island of Puerto Rico.  Founded by the principal oboist of the Puerto Rico Symphony and professor of oboe at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, the Fundación Frances Colón offers all interested oboe students the opportunity for personalized instruction through master classes and workshops, as well as providing instruments, reeds, music and supplies for the continuation of their studies.  Without the support of the foundation, many students would  not be able to receive instruction or materials related to the oboe.
